In 14th century Joseon, the ancient Kingdom of Korea, the King has a questions... how much is my used Mercedes worth?
In order to create a more effective off-beat comedy storytelling in disguise of the Korean period-piece cinema, we knew it was of an utmost importance to bring authenticity to the aesthetics specific to the 14th century Joseon Kingdom as depicted on popular silver screen works.
That’s why we assembled the HODs and above-the-line members from the Korean cinema itself, most notably the renowned DP Kihyun Kim (<Moving On (남매의 여름밤), 2019> and gaffer Hyunjoon Lee, along with our narrative-driven Korean director MISTER D for the project.
The result? A one-of-a-kind Joseon period Korean short film featuring evil conspiracies and many drops of crocodile tears around the timeless, royal-worthy German classic - the Mercedes Benz S-Class.
As a production services partner based in Seoul, we offered a comprehensive production support from start to finish, from working with Korean Film Commission to fix the location, casting, history-accurate wardrobe and art props, developing full scripts in Korean as well as hosting overseas client members for the duration of the production and more.

한국 영화 스타일을 가장한 색다른 유머코드를 스토리텔링에 녹이기 위해선 조선 왕조의 톤앤매너를 최대한 진실성 있게 복원하는 것이 가장 중요한 챌린지였습니다. 특히, 한국 영화 작품들에 비춰진 모습 그대로 말이죠.
그래서 주요 스태프와 제작진을 영화업계에서 그대로 모셔왔습니다. 영화 <남매의 여름밤>을 촬영한 김기현 촬영감독부터, 이현준 조명감독, 그리고 아더사이드 연출 감독이자 내러티브 중심의 MISTER D까지 슈퍼팀을 구성했습니다.
결과는? 지금껏 본 적 없는! 사악한 음모와 악어의 눈물이 뚝뚝 흘러내리는 조선시대 K-시네마와 독일의 자부심 삼각별 메르세데스 벤츠 S-클래스의 위엄이 합쳐진 국제클라쓰 단편!
